BALLER MOVE: Avoid In All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Julio Jones is one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, but he is now in the twilight of his NFL career. After he played his final game for the Buccaneers in the 2022 playoffs, many thought that his time in the NFL had come to an end and that he had retired alongside fellow NFL legend Tom Brady. But the Eagles decided to give him another chance to compete for a Super Bowl ring. He signed with the practice squad after Week 6. Jones officially made his Eagles debut in Week 7 against the Dolphins, where he caught a pass for three yards.

He then scored his first touchdown since November 2022 in Week 8, but he failed to record any stats in Week 9. Jones has gotten more acquainted with the Eagles' offense during the bye week. Dallas Goedert's injury could tempt some fantasy managers to play him, but he could only put up five yards against Kansas City and the Bills are still a force to be reckoned with despite their slow start to the season.
Jones should be avoided in all leagues until the Eagles' schedule gets easier, which will be around fantasy playoff time. They will play the Seahawks, Giants, and the Cardinals, and it'll make much more sense to play Jones then rather than right now.
