JuJu Smith-Schuster is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 13% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster played just 36% of snaps in a Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills, recording a single catch on his only target for eight yards. It was a miserable day for all Chiefs pass catchers other than WR Xavier Worthy (and backup tight end Noah Gray for some reason).
JuJu Smith-Schuster returned this week, and the Chiefs went with a heavier rotation at wide receiver. DeAndre Hopkins ran a route on 53% of the Chiefs drop backs -- he was at 69% and 61% over his last two games.

The playing time left something to be desired for Smith-Schuster, but the Bills have been a nightmare matchup for opposing pass-catchers all season. Most game scripts aren't like this, and he should have value moving forward in deeper PPR leagues should he stay healthy.
Unfortunately, we probably won't see another game like his Week 5 performances. KC acquired WR DeAndre Hopkins ahead of Week 9, and he'll likely be their leading receiver from this point forward. This should leave number 9 to split snaps in a backup role with the rookie Worthy, heavily capping his upside for the remainder of 2024.

The running back position is one of major scarcity in fantasy football.
