ANALYSIS: Josh Palmer was the third option in Los Angeles the last few seasons, but with the departures of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams to Chicago and New York, respectively, Palmer could emerge as the WR1 for the Chargers this season, yet he's been drafted extremely late in the same area as other teams' WR3.
Ladd McConkey is set to work out of the slot, while Quentin Johnston and D.J. Chark will serve as downfield threats on the outside.

Palmer's role should be as the possession receiver in this offense and he should lead the receiver room in targets. While he managed only two touchdowns last season, he should see more Red Zone targets this year as well with Austin Ekeler, Allen, and Williams all elsewhere.
Palmer is just 24 years old but has the most experience of any of Justin Herbert's receiving options. He's a great value at ADP and should be able to provide weekly value as a WR3 or flex play.
