BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB1
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has scored at least 10 PPR points in every game where he played 40 percent or more of the snaps this year. After missing the first few games on the PUP list during ongoing contract negotiations, the star running back returned and showed his value. Taylor's volume has been elite, getting at least 15 rushing attempts in six of his seven full games this year.
In Week 17, the 24-year-old had a season-high in rushing attempts and yards, rushing 21 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. This was the third time in his seven full games that Taylor went for 90 or more yards, and he scored a touchdown in four straight healthy games. Despite teammate Zack Moss likely returning, the Colts rank in the top 10 of rushing DVOA, which has allowed both backs to have success, and Taylor has been the workhorse of late.
The Colts take on the Texans in Week 18, who allow the 18th-most points per game to running backs this season. Houston ranks second in DVOA against the run this year, but they found a lot of success back in their Week 2 matchup with just Moss healthy. The winner of this game makes the postseason while the loser is out, and the Colts will make sure to heavily involve their star in the biggest game of the year. Taylor ranks as an elite RB1 option for the final week of the season.
