Jaylen Wright is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: With the injury to fellow RB Jeff Wilson Jr., Miami Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright should be added in all leagues as a handcuff to RB De'Von Achane. Given Achane's history of injury issues and the lack of depth Miami has at RB, Wright could see a valuable role at some point this season.
Wright is still a rookie with much to learn, but the talent is undeniable. The 210-pound back ran a blazing 4.38 at the combine and could find a perfect fit in Mike McDaniel's scheme that maximizes his players' talents. Wright is a legitimate burner and is a threat to break off a big run in any game he plays.

Fellow RB Raheem Mostert is also dealing with injury issues, and time will tell if those linger. That said, it's hard to trust Wright to produce immediately, but he's one of the highest-upside handcuff RBs in the NFL right now and could find success if Achane missed time.
