ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren struggled with injuries earlier this season. However, the third-year running back has played well since returning to the lineup. He has averaged 10.5 rushing attempts for 45 yards and 6.9 half-point PPR fantasy points over the past two weeks. Warren has been productive despite Najee Harris have the best three-week run of his career.

While Harris is the Steelers’ clear-cut No. 1 running back, Warren has a solid role behind the former Alabama star. Fantasy players can start him as a flex option in deeper leagues despite Harris’ outstanding play.
More importantly, Warren is a league winner if Harris misses time with an injury. Fantasy players with the veteran running back should make Warren their top priority off the waiver wire this week. Meanwhile, fantasy players in deeper leagues should add Warren as a flex option and an RB2 during the byes.
