ANALYSIS: Jack Leiter made his long-awaited major league debut this season and has struggled, which could have caused many fantasy managers to cut ties with the former number two overall selection. In two starts at the major league level, Leiter has a hefty 12.91 ERA and 2.35 WHIP across only 7 ⅔ innings. He has struck out six.

However, at Triple-A this season, Leiter has looked like a completely different pitcher with a 2.84 ERA and 0.91 WHIP through 25 ⅓ innings with a stellar 8:37 BB:K ratio. If you are in a keeper league and a frustrated manager has cut ties with former Vanderbilt Commodore, add him immediately.
While he may only be able to figure things out on the major league level later this summer, he is still an extremely talented prospect with a high ceiling in keeper and dynasty formats.
He should be rostered in dynasty leagues, but if he is available in your keeper league, take a flier on Leiter. He just may become a top-of-the-line starting pitcher down the road.
