BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 41% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Every time a player puts up a season-high he's going to command some attention. Enter Isaiah McKenzie, whose Week 3 outing against Dolphins will see him getting off WW pools in pretty much every league, let alone those awarding fantasy points per reception.
While some will fade McKenzie and discard the chance of landing him for free, others will jump all over him. The case for the former: Jake Kumerow (top outside WR in Buffalo) got injured, opening the door for McKenzie to rack up points. The case for the latter: McKenzie's usage has increased weekly going from appearing in 44% of the total offensive snaps to 46% and lastly over 50% on Sunday.
McKenzie also jumped from getting targeted three times in each of the first two games to nine on Week 3 alone. The WR hauled in seven receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown, his second of the season after scoring one in W1 against the Rams.
The Bills keep playing high-octane football and have one of the better, if not the absolute best, quarterbacks throwing passes in the NFL. Diggs and Gabriel Davis are getting most of the defensive attention and that has been enough for McKenzie to have some room to operate a bit more freely this season.
Again, Kumerow (and the presence of Jamison Crowder in the offense) is going to cut down McKenzie's upside a bit but he's definitely worth rostering and handed a WR3/Flex start weekly at the very least in most leagues.
