Isaac Guerendo is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo has tremendous upside if lead running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) doesn't return (and it's unlikely he will) and his backup Jordan Mason (shoulder) is sidelined due to his AC joint sprain. The thing about 49ers running backs is that it really doesn't matter who they are.
Anybody can run it in Shanahan’s run scheme. Unrealpic.twitter.com/MxxFwQiAat

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan schemes a fantastic running game and the offensive line has done a great job at run blocking this season. This is a bit of a no-brainer. Whichever running back starts for this team should be locked into fantasy lineups in every league.
The rookie himself brings tantalizing upside. He ran a ridiculous 4.33 40-yard-dash at the NFL combine this year, and reached a top speed of 20.64 MPH on his biggest run. Not bad for a player listed at 221 pounds. His acceleration is absurd, and he can exploit gaps in the offensive line, turning them into huge plays.
He should not be on waivers going into Week 7. Pick him up if you can.
