ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo is the RB63 for the year, averaging 3.3. half-point PPR fantasy points. However, the rookie running back is the top waiver wire target in Week 14. He will be the 49ers’ starting running back for the rest of the season.
Unfortunately, San Francisco has struggled to stay healthy in 2024. They have dealt with multiple injuries on offense and defense. However, their backfield has been obliterated by injuries. Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) are heading to injured reserve, knocking them out for the rest of the year.
Christian McCaffrey AND Jordan Mason are headed to injured reserve, per Kyle Shanahan.
Isaac Guerendo is now in line to start for San Francisco.

Fantasy players only got four games out of McCaffrey, with the superstar averaging only 10.1 fantasy points per game. With Mason’s season also over, Guerendo will be the unquestioned starter in the backfield.
The fantasy football playoffs start in Week 15. Therefore, fantasy players should use every dollar left of their free agent acquisition budget on Guerendo.
