Green Bay Packers Schedule: 2023 NFL Games, Strength Of Schedule, Fantasy Outlooks

Aaron Jones - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

What is the Packers schedule? View the Green Bay Packers schedule for 2023. NFL games, dates, times and strength of schedule analysis for fantasy football.

The Jordan Love era has officially begun in Green Bay as he steps into the starting quarterback role after backing up Aaron Rodgers for three seasons. Despite this significant change, the Packers still boast multiple fantasy-relevant players. Aaron Jones, who finished as the RB9 in PPR, and AJ Dillon (RB26 in PPR) should continue splitting the workload in the backfield and produce similar numbers in the upcoming 2023 season.

In terms of wide receivers, Green Bay didn't make many additions for Love, so Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs should be heavily involved in the offense as the top two options.

Now, let's turn out attention to the Packers' 2023 schedule and see who they will be facing.

2023 Packers Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football

Love will have four favorable matchups within the first five weeks of the fantasy season, going up against the Bears, Falcons, Lions, and Raiders, all of which allowed plenty of fantasy points to quarterbacks last season. While he may encounter more challenging matchups against the Broncos, Saints, and Chiefs, the overall balance of favorable matchups in 2023 works in his favor.

The running back tandem of Jones and Dillon can also benefit from several favorable matchups throughout the season. With a new quarterback leading the offense, the Packers could rely even more on the duo, particularly in matchups against teams such as the Bears (twice), Lions (twice), Vikings (twice), Chargers, and Raiders.

When it comes to the Packers' wideouts, they will face some formidable cornerback rooms in 2023, including those of the Saints, Chargers, and Broncos. However, Watson should have some big fantasy days against teams like the Lions, Raiders, Vikings, Bears, and Rams.

During the fantasy playoffs (Weeks 15-17), the Packers' fantasy players will encounter matchups that can be considered neutral. In week 15, the Buccaneers proved effective in limiting fantasy points to running backs but were more susceptible to quarterbacks last year. The matchup against the Panthers in Week 16 may not be ideal, but the Week 17 game against the Vikings is probably the best matchup for them in the fantasy playoffs.

Considering the favorable schedule bookends for Love, he could be a viable late-round quarterback target in 2023 fantasy drafts.
