Garrett Wilson's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Garrett Wilson for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: The New York Jets have made a change at quarterback, going with Tim Boyle over Zach Wilson this week against Miami. That introduces some added uncertainty for wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who had developed a good rapport with Wilson.
While Garrett Wilson was shut down last week against Buffalo to the tune of two receptions for nine yards, he had 80-plus receiving yards in four consecutive games before that. While he hasn't found the endzone since Week 2, he's been a strong contributor all year for the Jets.
In fact, you could argue that Wilson IS the Jets offense this year. He has five games with 10 or more targets, including 14 of them two games ago against the Raiders.
Boyle's a bit of an unknown, though. He hasn't really been very good in his limited NFL action, so while Wilson could very well continue to play as well as he has been with Boyle under center, there's the possibility that he just doesn't get the targets he needs to succeed. It's worth noting though that both of last week's receptions came after the Jets put Boyle into the football game.
