ANALYSIS: "Minshew Mania" has been running wild ever since Anthony Richardson's unfortunate season-ending injury. The veteran QB is now playing with real expectations for the first time, as the Colts are fighting for a playoff spot.
Gardner Minshew was great statistically in his first three years in the NFL but after a shaky two-game stretch of filling in for Jalen Hurts last season, many fans wrote him off, but he has proven his worth so far with the Colts.
Gardner Minshew is a football player… that’s all that needs to be said.
Is it perfect? No
Does it look bad sometimes? Yes
Is it electric? YesBUT WHO CARES

Minshew lost three games in a row from Week 6 to Week 9 after Richardson's last injury, but he threw for 282.3 yards per game in those three games and ran for two TDs. Now, Minshew has started to pair his stats with wins, winning four games in a row while finishing as the overall QB13 over the last two weeks.
Next week, he will face the Bengals, who have been weak defensively and no longer have much to play for after Joe Burrow's injury. After tough matchups against Pittsburgh and Atlanta, the Colts finish off the season by going up against the Raiders and Texans, both teams with below-average defenses. Minshew could be a solid streaming option for QB-needy fantasy managers as we approach the fantasy playoffs.
