Jake Finnen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/10/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.
There are just four games total tonight, so excuse the repetitiveness of this article. Instead of going directly for the cheapest value, I tried to find players with, potentially, the lowest ownership rates. You are going to have to stack some teams tonight so don't feel bad if you end up taking a bunch of cheap Celtics to help fill in the rest of your lineup. You can go in just about any direction and few players lack upside tonight. You'll probably need to play Paul George, Russell Westbrook, or some mix of the two tonight, so make sure you are looking for consistent mid-level options.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Terry Rozier - PG, BOS @ MIA (FD - $4,400)
Even with Kyrie Irving returning, it's hard to fade Terry Rozier on any night. Not because he produces consistently, but he is always able to be in position to do so. In a primary backup role, it's not hard for him to find usage with the second unit, and he will always be given the chance to exceed a projected price below 5K because of his attention to defense. He generates mostly off of steals and assists, but seeing how he can score from anywhere on the court, I like his upside in a game where his teammates have a very high chance of struggling against athletic defenders.
Dennis Schroder - SG, OKC @ SA (FD - $5,200)
Dennis Schroder has found an ideal role on the bench while still being incredibly productive late in games. The Spurs backcourt is one of the best to target and Schroder has been productive against some of the stingiest defenses this season. Some of Schroder's best games have come against the toughest competition and most importantly, against some of the league's slower teams. The Spurs have increased their pace accordingly with the rest of the teams, but they are still the same Gregg Popovich-coached team they have been for nearly the past two decades. They focus on good defensive schemes and passing rather than offense-by-talent. The Spurs won't limit the Thunder's best players, but it will absolutely force those three to be the main sources of production like always.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Stanley Johnson - SF, DET @ SAC (FD - $3,500)
This isn't a smart play, but DFS doesn't pay out to the smart, it pay's out to the bold. You can always pick the player that is facing an easy matchup, but that doesn't account for the fact that that player shot horrendously that night, forever making him an untouchable player for your DFS standards. Then of course, that same player, on the second night of a back-to-back, drops 25 points on 18 shots with seven rebounds and three steals. I am not saying Stanley Johnson will do that...but if he is going to have a big game against any team, its against the Kings.
Marcus Morris - PF, BOS @ MIA (FD - $4,700)
Marcus Morris has been a pain in the Miami Heat's side for years. Whether it's on defense or just providing spacing, he always manages to have a productive game versus them. The Heat are one of the better coached teams in the league so they game plan against opponents well. Their game plan of the Celtics should include something about Marcus Morris being able to hit from the outside, so while I still think they will want Morris to be the one shooting daggers, I think it's a tough strategy given his track record. At the same time he hasn't proven to be a consistent shooter from the outside. I do like his upside tonight and while I can't see the Heat stopping him, I'm expecting him to exceed projected is some type of dramatic fashion.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Mason Plumlee - C, LAC @ DEN (FD - $4,500)
Since the Nuggets have been able to play Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee together in Paul Millsap's absence, it's easy to see why Plumlee will go way under-owned tonight. His minutes have all but disappeared in recent games, but I still think he is capable of squeaking out one or two more productive games before he is completely sidelined. He doesn't offer the defense that Millsap does, but his size gives coach Mike Malone a reason to throw him extra minutes against a bigger Clippers team. Even if the Clippers run small like they have been known to do late in games with Montrezl Harrell playing the five, Plumlee is versatile enough to run with or against any specific lineup. He just need the minutes. I do worry he won't get many going forward, but I can see him getting closer to 20 tonight at home.
