Today's NBA Picks: Top Player Props, Odds, and Best Bets (Wednesday, 3/4/26)

Jaylen Brown - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Fantasy Basketball Rankings

Get Keith Eyster's top NBA player props and expert picks for Wednesday, 3/4/26. Uncover today's best value bets, model projections, and live odds to beat the books.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! There are six games on the schedule this evening, starting with a high-level clash between the Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks.

Five of the eight teams on the schedule are playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, so we will surely have some injury news to monitor. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rested for OKC last night, so he should be active, but Memphis is sure to have a CVS receipt-style injury report.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Wednesday, March 4th. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Alright, let's get to the picks already!

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Jaylen Brown over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118 DraftKings), (-132 NOVIG)

Boston easily dispatched Milwaukee on Monday night while MVP candidate Jaylen Brown rested. They get a tougher test tonight against Charlotte, who has been rolling over their last ten games (7-3). However, Charlotte played at home last night and must make the trip up to Boston for the game this evening. Boston is already enjoying a rest advantage, and Brown has an extra day's rest over his other teammates.

Charlotte ranks just 16th in defensive efficiency this season. They have been much better in the second half of the season, but Brown should be able to excel with the rest advantage tonight.  Afterall, he's averaging 29.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.0 assists (41.1 PRA) per game this season, and a competitive game should keep him on the floor for more than 35 minutes.

Brandon Miller over 19.5 Points (-106 DraftKings), (-113 NOVIG)

Charlotte has been playing some of the best basketball in the league since the All-Star break, and Brandon Miller has been a huge part of their success. Last night, he dropped 15 points in the first half, as Charlotte opened up a 9-point advantage leading into halftime. After the intermission, the game swiftly shifted even further in favor of Charlotte, and Miller played just six second-half minutes and finished with 17 points. Before last night, he had scored at least 20 points in each of his previous four games and six of his last eight.

He draws a tough matchup against Boston tonight, but Charlotte owns the best offensive rating in the league over their last 1o games. Miller remains a focal point of the offense as Charlotte continues to surge into the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; often, role players and lesser-known players may offer the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Quentin Grimes under 16.5 Points (-105 Bet365), (-114 NOVIG)

Okay, this is a bit of an insane line. Yes, Joel Embiid and Paul George are almost certainly out for this game, and Kelly Oubre missed last night's game with an illness. VJ Edgecombe also left last night's game wth a back injury, and is likely questionable to play tonight. Furthermore, it's the best matchup in basketball against a Utah team that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency.

However, for the season, Grimes averages 12.4 points per game. If you take Embiid, George, Edgecombe, Oubre, and McCain (traded) off the floor, Grimes has posted just a 16% usage rate and 11.5 points per-36 minutes. There is also a decent probability that Oubre or Edgecombe will be able to play in this game, which would further dampen the outlook for Grimes. He's reached 17 points in just 12 of 55 games this season, and even though this might be a dream matchup, the under looks pretty great.

The sharp play is the under here, and our premium projections agree!

Darius Garland over 13.5 Points (-115 Bet365)

Clippers' new addition Darius Garland almost certainly belongs in the top section under normal circumstances. However, he is set to play just his second game for his new team, and he is still working his way back to full strength after a lengthy injury absence. In his first game, he played just shy of 23 minutes off the bench and scored 12 points. He posted an extremely healthy 28.7% usage rate in a tough matchup against Golden State.

There are a couple of things working in his favor tonight that suggest this line is a touch too light. First, he gets a much better matchup against an Indiana team that ranks 27th in defensive efficiency over its last 10 games. Second, he should see a decent bump in playing time over his 23 minutes from his LAC debut. If he posts anything close to his usage rate from his first game, Garland should have no problem racking up at least 14 points.

Garland shows up with a favorable edge on his PRA prop in our NBA Props Optimizer, too!

Jonathan Kuminga over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114 FanDuel), (-119 NOVIG)

A change of scenery appears to have lit a fire under talented youngster Jonathan Kuminga. He had an electric debut with Atlanta when he posted 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists (38 PRA), as team leader Jalen Johnson exited the game early. Then, he made his first start with the team with Johson still injured, posting 17-9-3 (29 PRA). Finally, in his third game, we were treated to what appears to be his typical role with his new team. Kuminga responded with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists (30 PRA) in just over 25 minutes of action.

He gets a plus matchup against Milwaukee tonight, and the role looks to be locked in even with Jalen Johnson fully healthy.
