FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/23/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Tom Vecchio highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/23/18.

We have a split slate of games which is normal for a Saturday and gives us 10 games in the early slate which starts at 2 pm and a four-game night slate. Solid options across the board, so I'll try to hit on a few from each slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/23/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Aaron Nola - P, PHI @ WAS (FD - $9,500)

Nola is the most expensive pitcher on the early slate and is facing off against a Nationals team who has a 21% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season. That may not be the highest rate out there, but they come in with only a .311 wOBA vs RHP this season, which isn't all that threatening. He has seven or more strikeouts in three of his last five starts and has given up three or fewer earned runs four of these last five starts.

Jacob deGrom - NYM vs LOS (FD - $11,700)

deGrom is the best overall pitcher in action today and yes, that includes Kershaw, who he is facing off against. deGrom has seven or more strikeouts in seven straight starts and has allowed two or fewer earned runs in nine straight starts. He is one of the absolute elite pitchers in this league and comes in with a 35% strikeout rate vs righties and a 29% strikeout rate vs lefties. He is up against a Dodgers team who has a 22% strikeout rate vs RHP this season, which is about league average. He has a great pitchers park behind him and should be your top option on the night slate.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Anthony Rizzo - 1B, CHC @ CIN (FD - $3,800)

Rizzo and the Cubs have been in good spots the past few days and haven't been able to come through, but it's time to go right back to the well on this one. They are up against Anthony DeSclafani, who is giving up a .417 wOBA to lefties this season, which will put Rizzo in a great spot today. He has a .199 ISO vs RHP this season and with this favorable hitters park, he could knock one out.

Jose Altuve - 2B, HOU vs KAN (FD - $4,300)

Altuve is a bit of a reverse splits hitter, meaning he, as a right-handed batter, is better vs right-handed pitchers then he is compared to lefties. He has a .415 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers this season, along with a super low 12% strikeout rate. He is never wasting an opportunity and comes into this game with hits in seven of his last eight outings.

Matt Carpenter - 3B, STL @ MIL (FD - $3,800)

Carpenter is up against Chase Anderson who is giving up 1.52 HR/9 to left-handed hitters this season, which will play nicely into Carpenter's .227 ISO vs RHP. He comes into with four home runs in his last six games, a trend which should be able to continue in this favorable hitter's park and up against this bad pitcher.

Didi Gregorius - SS, NYY @ TAM (FD - $3,800)

The Yankees offense fell flat yesterday, only scoring one run, but if there is any team that can bounce back and put up big runs, its this team. A bit of a negative park shift for them since they are in Tampa for this one, but with Didi coming with a .263 ISO vs RHP, he should be able to find plenty of success.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Carlos Gonzalez - OF, COL vs NYM (FD - $3,700)

Gonzalez has hits in six of his last seven games, with three doubles, one home run, and three RBIs. He has a .357 wOBA and a .217 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers and with this game being at Coors Field, he makes a great addition to a Rockies stack. Focus on the lefties if you can for the stack.

Joey Gallo - OF, TEX @ MIN (FD - $3,200)

Gall can be one of the more boom or bust hitters in the league, but today we are looking at the BOOM side of things. He is up against Jake Odorizzi, who is giving u 2.08 HR/9 to lefties this season. That is truly terrible, and with Gallo having a massive .259 ISO vs right-handed pitchers, he should be the guy you are targeting for home run upside tonight.
