FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (4/10/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

FanDuel has extremely tight prices, specifically if you're looking to play a high end pitcher. There are some solid cheap options tonight, though, which makes paying up for the higher end pitchers a bit easier.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/10/18.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings as well as other sports. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Jacob deGrom - P, at MIA ($9,600)

deGrom has thrown well this season, sporting a 2-0 record, 1.54 ERA, and 9.3 K/9 through two starts. He gets a great matchup against the Miami Marlins, who feature one of the worst offenses in the MLB. He will also be throwing in an extremely pitcher friendly stadium tonight. deGrom is a -185 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. In other words, Miami features the third lowest implied run total on the slate at 3.4 runs.

Aaron Nola - P, vs CIN ($8,500)

Nola has struggled a bit this season, but he does sport a 2.61 ERA. He has only posted 6.1 K/9, while failing to throw six innings in either start. He will be making his home debut tonight, and he gets a matchup against a strikeout prone Cincinnati team. Nola is a -213 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, while Cincinnati has the second lowest implied run total on this slate at 3.2 runs.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Travis d'Arnaud - C, at MIA ($2,500)

d'Arnaud is in a timeshare as the Mets catcher, but he is an option that can be considered when he draws the start. That is expected to be the case tonight, as d'Arnaud is generally called upon against left-handed pitching. d'Arnaud featured a dominant .302 average against lefties with 46.2% of his hits against them going for extra-bases in 2017. He's a cheap, high upside option.

Carlos Santana - 1B, vs CIN ($3,900)

Santana has quietly been a safe option with tremendous upside for the Philadelphia Phillies. He has scored fantasy points in each of his eight games, including five games with double double fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against Homer Bailey, who has struggled with the home run throughout his career. Santana is one of the more powerful players for Philadelphia, and he can be used in all leagues.

Zack Cozart - 2B, at TEX ($3,800)

Cozart hasn't been enjoying the best season, but he is in a great position tonight. He gets a matchup against Martin Perez, who has struggled against right-handed hitters throughout his career. Cozart will also be leading off for one of the top offenses on the slate. He does come with some risk, but he still makes a great option.

Daniel Descalso - 3B, at SF ($2,100)

Descalso has never been an elite hitter, but he does come with some value for his low price tag. He's a significantly better hitter against right-handed pitching, although he does get a tough matchup against Johnny Cueto tonight. Cueto has shown flaws in recent seasons, which makes Descalso a viable option.

Trevor Story - SS, vs SD ($4,200)

Story is at his best when he is playing at home against left-handed pitching. In that situation, he is hitting .280 with 52.8% of his hits going for extra-bases throughout his career. He gets a great matchup against Joey Lucchesi, who is far from an elite option. Story comes with tremendous upside because of this game being player in Colorado, and he can be used in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Justin Upton - OF, at TEX ($3,900)

Upton has found quite a bit of success this season, sporting a .282 average with three home runs, nine RBIs, and seven runs. He is averaging 13.5 fantasy points per game, and he gets a great matchup against Martin Perez tonight. Upton also posted a 0.137 wOBA and 0.163 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching last season. He makes a great option in all leagues tonight.

Guillermo Heredia - OF, at KC ($2,200)

Heredia has only seen seven at-bats this season, but he already has a home run. He is a player that generally starts against left-handed pitching, and he gets a good matchup against Eric Skoglund tonight. Last season, Heredia featured a .310 average with 50% of his home runs coming against left-handed pitching. Heredia is a cheap option that can be considered in all leagues.
