FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/14/19): MLB DFS Lineups

Troy Klauder highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 4/14/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We've got a full slate of 15 games today, and FanDuel has a main slate and an all day slate that both start at 1:05 pm eastern.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/14/2019. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

David Price, BOS vs. BAL ($8,900)

There is a ton of pitching to choose from on Sunday, with lots of aces taking the hill for their teams. If you want to spend big on a top tier starter like Max Scherzer or Gerrit Cole then go right ahead - but you should be able to get similar production out of Price for a lower... price. Even though he's gotten touched up in both of his starts, Price has 13 strikeouts to three walks through 12 innings. The Orioles offense is a pathetic attempt at fielding a major league caliber lineup, so Price should easily dismantle them.

Derek Holland, SF vs. COL ($6,900)

If this was a road start for Holland, I wouldn't even consider him. However, he should fare well in Oracle Park, a pitcher's haven, against an abysmal Rockies lineup. Colorado has a pathetic .250 wOBA versus left-handed pitching this year with a 28.0% K-rate, making them an optimal target. Holland has pitched to a 32.3% strikeout-rate this year and has serious upside that should be considered in GPP contests.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Paul Goldschmidt, STL at CIN ($3,800)

It's entirely unclear to me why Goldy is at such a low price, as he should be sitting among the most expensive players on FanDuel. I don't need to convince anybody that Goldschmidt is an elite fantasy producer, and he's in an outstanding hitter's park with an easy matchup against Anthony DeSclafani, who has a horrific 6.75 ERA.

Robinson Cano, NYM at ATL ($3,200)

Cano has gotten off to a very poor start, but he still has plenty of value batting third for the Mets. He should see lots of RBI and run opportunities against Julio Teheran. Teheran is rocking a 6.00 ERA, so Cano and the Mets should have a big day. Consider stacking Cano with teammates like Michael Conforto and Jeff McNeil.

Rafael Devers, BOS vs. BAL ($3,000)

Devers has fallen in the Red Sox order, but simply existing as a member of that lineup is a viable route to production. Boston is primed to feast on John Means in hitter-friendly Fenway Park, and Devers should be part of the parade. He is a great play to help save some payroll.

Corey Seager, LAD vs. MIL ($3,600)

Seager is another player with a head-scratcher of a price, as he has an .890 OPS and bats second in the loaded Dodgers lineup. Brewers starter Jhoulys Chacin has an ugly 5.95 FIP, giving Seager an awesome matchup. Now is the time to buy, before Seager's price rises.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Nelson Cruz, MIN vs. DET ($3,800)

Cruz has only played six games this year thanks to a National League roadtrip, but he's mashed in every opportunity he's gotten, holding a 181 wRC+. He will be a fantastic source of power production as the Twins cleanup man. Tigers starter Jordan Zimmermann gave up three home runs in his last start, so don't be surprised if he serves one up to Cruz.

Austin Meadows, TB at TOR ($4,000)

Can this guy get any hotter? Meadows is in beast mode right now, with twelve hits and four homers in his last four games. He has a 1.242 OPS and will bat leadoff for Tampa, a spot that will maximize the amount of chances for him to produce.
