DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (4/20/17): MLB DFS Advice

We have two slates today, as there is a four game early slate and a seven game late slate. There are a few great matchups for both the early and late slate, which means this article will feature players from both of them.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/20/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Baltimore Orioles vs Scott Feldman

The Orioles have displayed elite power this season, as they are fourth in the MLB in both home runs and team slugging percentage. They get a great matchup against Feldman, who has struggled with a 1.47 WHIP this season. The Orioles are a powerful team that is currently a -120 favorite in a game set at 9 runs tonight. The can be used in all leagues tonight.

Detroit Tigers vs Erasmo Ramirez

Ramirez will draw the start tonight, but he's known for being a relief pitcher. He struggles to pitch deep into games, which means the Tigers will see plenty of the Rays below average bullpen. They are small underdogs in a game set at 8 runs, and the Tigers are a high upside stacking option today.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Noah Syndergaard vs Philadelphia Phillies

Syndergaard will likely be owned by everyone tonight, and for good reason. He has an elite 10.485 K/9 and 1.159 WHIP, and he gets a great matchup against the Phillies. He is also a -175 favorite in a game set at only 6.5 runs, and he's an elite option in all leagues.

James Paxton vs Oakland A's

Paxton has looked outstanding to start the season, as he has scored 21.7, 32.2, and 38.2 fantasy points in his first three starts. He gets a great matchup against a weak Oakland offense in a pitcher friendly stadium. He's also a -164 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, and he's another great option on this slate.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Jason Castro - vs CLE, $2,800

The Indians/Twins game was postponed yesterday, which means a few players will make great options again today. Castro is one of them. He has a great 0.086 wOBA and 0.117 ISO differential against right-handed pitching, and he's extremely cheap. He has been enjoying a solid season, and he can be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Rickie Weeks - vs DET, $2,700

Weeks has struggled at times this season, but he has displayed good upside. He is expected to draw the start with a lefty on the mound, and he has dominated left-handed pitching throughout his career. He's another extremely cheap option, and he is the type of player that adds immediate upside to the lineup.

Second Base (2B)

Jose Ramirez - at MIN, $4,100

Ramirez enters this game with a ridiculous .447 batting average, six extra-base hits, and 11 RBIs in his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Mejia or Santana today, and Ramirez can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Francisco Lindor - at MIN, $4,500

Lindor is another player that has been on fire to start the season. He's hitting for a high average with great power and good speed. He also gets a good matchup today, regardless of whether he plays Mejia or Santana. He is another Indians player that can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Nick Castellanos - at TB, $3,700

Castellanos has struggled a bit for the Tigers this season, but he has been a consistent option in terms of fantasy. He gets a great matchup today, and Castellanos is a consistent option in one of the best stacks of the day.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Trey Mancini - at CIN, $3,500

Mancini has been one of the hotter hitters in the MLB to start the season, and he has a pair of two home run games thus far. He's still relatively cheap, and he gets a great matchup against Scott Feldman tonight. Mancini can be used in all leagues.

Josh Reddick - vs LAA, $3,600

Reddick has looked outstanding against right-handed pitching throughout his career, and he enters this game with a 0.183 wOBA and 0.135 ISO differential against righties. He gets a solid matchup Shoemaker tonight, and Reddick makes a solid option in all leagues with this matchup.

DFS Hitters to Avoid on DraftKings

Wilmer Flores - vs PHI, $3,200

Lucas Duda was injured last night, which could lead to Flores drawing the start here. He has struggled against right-handed pitching, though, and he gets a tough matchup against Aaron Nola. Flores enters the game with a -0.191 wOBA and -0.244 ISO differential against righties, and he should be avoided in all leagues.
