DISCLOSURE: Make sure to monitor the NHL news feeds for the latest player status and injury news.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Jett Greaves - DK $7K || FD $7.3K

Opponent - Philadelphia Flyers

Rolling out the Blue Jackets goaltending once again and this time with expected starter, Jett Greaves. Daniil Tarasov is expected to not suit up after sustaining an injury in the 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders. In four games for Greaves this season, he has a 1-3 record with a 3.04 Goals Against Average and a 0.917 Save Percentage. The Flyers are struggling in more ways than one and are coming off a big loss in Buffalo. As the second-best team in terms of raw Shots Per Goal Per 60 value in the last ten games, Greaves is set up for a modest floor at the very least.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Talbot (DK $8K || FD $7.7K)
  • Saros (DK $7.6K || FD $7.8K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Connor McDavid - DK $9.6K || FD $10.1K

Opponent - Calgary Flames

The Flames have won three games in their last ten, excluding splits and in that timeframe, they have been conceding three goals on average. This includes a 3-1 loss at Chicago and a 5-3 loss at home to Anaheim. Now they play host to Connor McDavid and the Oilers who are coming off a giant 6-2 win at home against Colorado. In that game, McDavid generated two goals and nine shots. In his last five games, he has five goals, four assists, 28 shots, and two blocked shots. With Calgary struggling on all fronts and McDavid firing on all cylinders, it is expected that the center will produce four shots and two points at the very least.

Pontus Holmberg - DK $2.5K || FD $3.4K

Opponent - Montreal Canadiens

Holmberg is the value play of the slate. William Nylander will be joining Pontus Holmberg on the third line with Mitch Marner’s return imminent. In Holmberg’s last five outings, he has one assist, five shots, and three blocked shots. Montreal remains in the bottom ten in Scoring Chances Against Per 60, in their last ten games, excluding splits. Expect the center to produce two shots and one point, easily maintaining value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Hischier (DK $6.2K || FD $7.4K)
  • O’Reilly (DK $5.4K || FD $6.7K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Filip Forsberg - DK $8.3K || FD $9.5K

Opponent - New York Islanders

Forsberg has officially broken his previous career high in goals, assists, and shots and it comes as no surprise. Forsberg has thrived with center and linemate Ryan O’Reilly. In Forsberg’s most recent five appearances, he has four goals, five assists, 25 shots, and three blocked shots. The Islanders in Per 60 stats, excluding splits in their last ten games, are in the bottom ten in both Shots Against and Goals Against. With Forsberg averaging five shots per game right now, it is not out of the realm of possibility that he produces at least five shots and one point in this fast-paced matchup against the Islanders.

Mitch Marner - DK $7K || FD $8K

Opponent - Montreal Canadiens

Mitch Marner is looking to make a return after a 12-game absence. In his five games prior to getting injured, he had two goals, two assists, five shots, and two blocked shots. Marner will be coming back to the lineup in a new role, however, playing on the second line with center John Tavares. As mentioned, Montreal remains a bottom-ten team in a few aspects, and with Marner, expected to be fed opportunities by Tavares, the winger surely has the chance to produce three shots and one point with tempered expectations.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Nylander (DK $5.3K || FD $9.6K)
  • Slafkovsky (DK $4K || FD $5.3K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Luke Hughes - DK $3.9K || FD $5.1K

Opponent - Ottawa Senators

Luke Hughes is starting to produce more peripherals and at the same time, he is also on a five-game point streak where he has generated one goal, four assists, 17 shots, and five blocked shots. In Per 60 stats, excluding splits in their last ten games, Ottawa is just outside the bottom half of the league in both Shots Against and High Danger Chances Against. However, they are the third-worst team in Goals Against. If Hughes can replicate a fraction of his form as of recent, he will easily maintain value.

Ryan McDonagh - DK $3.5K || FD $4.9K

Opponent - New York Islanders

The Islanders are the perfect matchup for the veteran two-way defenseman, Ryan McDonagh. Offering both shots and shot-blocking ability, McDonagh has not been a stranger to the article over the season. Considering over the last ten games, excluding splits the Islanders are a top ten team in Shots For Per 60, which makes McDonagh even more enticing. The only issue is his lack of point production. In his last five outings, he has just one assist. If McDonagh can start producing points again, alongside his peripherals, he will return to his high popularity. He may produce two shots, two blocked shots, and one point tonight.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Pulock (DK $4K || FD $4.7K)
  • Drysdale (DK $3.4K || FD $4.3K)
