DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/21/18): MLB DFS Lineups

With all 30 teams in action on Saturday, we've got six different slates to choose from. The all day slate starts at 1pm eastern and the featured slate begins at 7pm, covering 11 games.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/21/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Marcus Stroman, TOR (vs. BAL) - $8,500

Now that they've dealt Manny Machado, the Orioles might be the weakest lineup in baseball - they had just a .291 wOBA versus righties this year, third-worst in the league with Machado. Stroman has a respectable 3.45 ERA in the last month and should have no issues handling the O's. There isn't a lot of strikeout potential here, but at this low of a price, Stroman will still give you a ton of value with a strong start.

Vince Velasquez, PHI (vs. SD) - $7,800

If there is a lineup worse than the Orioles, it's the Padres, who are dead last with their .286 wOBA against right-handers. They've also got the highest K-rate at 25.9%. While Velasquez is a bit riskier, his strikeout upside is immense, as he's got a 27.9% K-rate this season. I love Velasquez in GPP contests, as he's got so much promise at a cheap price.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

C - Willson Contreras, CHC (vs. STL) - $4,000

If you're willing to spend at catcher, Contreras is a strong option. He's got a nice matchup batting fifth against Luke Weaver, owner of a 4.72 ERA. With a 123 wRC+, Contreras is one of the best hitting catchers in the league.

1B/OF - Cody Bellinger, LAD (at MIL) - $4,100

Bellinger has massive upside in one of the best power parks in the league, Miller Park. He's slugging .477 with 17 bombs this year and can rack up even more RBIs now that Manny Machado is batting in the Dodgers lineup. Brewers starter Chase Anderson has a 5.29 FIP with a 1.63 HR/9, so the Dodgers should put up plenty of runs. This might be the cheapest Bellinger is priced all year, so take advantage while you can.

2B/OF - Dee Gordon, SEA (vs. CWS) - $3,900

As the Mariners leadoff hitter, Gordon will get lots of chances to score some runs and steal some bags against Dylan Covey. Covey has a 5.69 ERA, making him a perfect stack candidate. At such a low price, you can't miss Gordon, who will maximize his plate appearances out of the leadoff spot.

3B/2B - Yangervis Solarte, SEA (vs. BAL) - $3,500

Solarte is in a deep slump right now, which has brought his price down to a very cheap $3,500. He's still batting cleanup for the Blue Jays and is in a great spot for RBIs against Alex Cobb, who has a 6.41 ERA. For a near punt-level play, Solarte has lots of upside.

SS - Francisco Lindor, CLE (@ TEX) - $5,500

If you'd like to build your lineup around an elite bat, Lindor is the guy to go with. The Indians lineup went off on the Rangers yesterday and should do so again versus Bartolo Colon, who has a 5.21 FIP. Lindor is having an incredible season and shouldn't disappoint you today.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Ronald Acuna, Jr., ATL (@ WAS) - $4,000

Acuna is in an awesome spot now that he's batting leadoff for the Braves, and he proved himself there yesterday with a homer and two steals. Acuna has an explosive power/speed combo that can result in lots of fantasy points on any given night.

George Springer, HOU (@ LAA) - $4,400

Now is the perfect time to buy low on Springer as he takes on Nick Tropeano, who has a 4.83 ERA. Springer is the leadoff hitter for one of the best lineups in baseball and has already proven himself as an elite fantasy player. Don't be scared off by a poor stretch - buy in now.

Aaron Hicks, NYY (vs. NYM) - $4,400

Hicks is obliterating left-handed pitching with a 159 wRC+ this year. He gets a lefty in Steven Matz in one of the best hitting environments in the league, Yankee Stadium. He should bathe in runs and RBIs in the Yankees stacked lineup.
