DraftKings And FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/30/23): NBA DFS Lineups

jayson tatum nba dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball NBA injury news

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 30, 2023. Mike Marteny gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

Our Thursday night brings us just two games in the Association with MLB starting today. We have Boston in Milwaukee and the Pelicans in Denver, so at least we have four teams with something to play for!

The number of games between contenders also increases the odds of plenty of wire-to-wire battles, and fortunately, we have plenty of appealing candidates to choose from at each position across the salary cap.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the respective main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/30/23. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:30 pm ET. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jamal Murray - vs. NO ($7,800 DK, $7,900 FD)

Murray's value isn't contingent on injuries, so that alone makes him an easy click tonight. Of course, if Jokic sits Murray is the prime candidate to pick up a lot of the slack. However, Murray performs well even with Jokic in the lineup. Murray's price isn't a deterrent and he has cracked 40 fantasy points in three of the last six games without going under 35. Low-risk is exactly what we are looking for in cash games.

Derrick White - at MIL ($5,800 DK, $7,000 FD)

White, as with most of his teammates, wasn't needed in the destruction of Washington. His stats took a hit and his price (on DK anyway) took a dive. Now we're left with White as a great looking bargain against a good Milwaukee team. Prior to Tuesday's game, White was riding a streak of three consecutive games over 40 fantasy points, playing well over 30 minutes in each. He's a good bet to get back somewhere close to that.

Marcus Smart - at MIL ($5,300 DK, $6,000 FD)

Smart's production is relatively the same no matter the outcome of the game. He's a good scorer, but his real value in DFS circles comes from his outstanding defense and role as a facilitator on this team. Smart feels like a bargain even if he has little to no chance of breaking the slate on his own.

ALSO CONSIDER: CJ McCollum ($7,500 DK, $8,300 FD); Jaylen Brown ($8,600 DK, $9,400 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo - vs. BOS ($11,400 DK, $12,000 FD)

Yes, he's expensive and the chances of a ceiling game against a team like Boston aren't good. Still, we don't need a ceiling game out of Giannis. His floor is 50 – Giannis has only been under that total once since coming back from injury on February 28. Take your 60 and be happy, cash gamers. In GPP you can look for more upside, but you better be sure you find a way to recoup the certain 50 from Giannis.

Jayson Tatum - at MIL ($10,300 DK, $11,000 FD)

I don't usually recommend two high-priced players, but I'm paying down at guard to try and cram them in. Why? Tatum is the one guy that might eclipse Giannis tonight. He put up one of his best games of the season against the Bucks on Christmas Day and this is the first time that he's faced them since. Tatum still has an occasional dud unlike Giannis, but we can argue that the ceiling it almost as high and he's $1,100 cheaper.

Herbert Jones - at DEN ($4,800 DK, $5,500 FD)

If only Jones played more than 30 minutes every night. The guy is a huge asset on defense, strong on the boards, and a good passer. Sure, his offense needs work, but I like targeting guys that produce in other ways. The floor on Jones is kind of scary, but he has turned in two really good games against Denver this year. I'm paying down and banking on a third here.

ALSO CONSIDER: Brandon Ingram ($8,900 DK, $9,200 FD); Trey Murphy ($6,000 DK, $6,700 FD); Bruce Brown ($4,500 DK, $5,400 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Al Horford - at MIL $6,200 DK, $5,000 FD)

Time Lord is going to sit out either tonight or tomorrow, so Horford is going to get extended run in one of these games. It would make sense that it's tonight, but the NBA took advice from the Talking Heads and stopped making sense a long time ago. If Robert Williams sits tonight, run Horford. It not, run Williams instead.

Zeke Nnaji - vs. NO ($3,300 DK, $4,000 FD)

Jokic has been playing back-to-backs of late, but the rumor is Denver will sit him in one of these. It might not be tonight. If it is, have Nnaji on your radar to throw into a lineup if Jokic is out. If not, chase value with the Boston centers.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jonas Valanciunas ($7,600 DK, $8,000 FD)
