NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 7, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.
We're primed for an even bigger Monday night than usual, as there are total of 15 games on the slate with the NBA going dark Tuesday in deference to Election Day.
That means a massive amount of options at every position all across the salary cap, even when factoring in injuries. It's a great night to take a shot at some big-money large-field tournaments available on the main slate on each site, but it's also not a bad strategy to split up some play into smaller express/late-night ledgers that reduce the number of games in play.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/7/22. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET tonight. Good luck, RotoBallers.
DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG, OKC at DET ($9,400 DK; $10,400 FD)
Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging over 50 fantasy points on either site despite a quiet game by his standards versus the Bucks on Saturday night, when he posted 26.8 DK/27.7 FD points across 32 minutes. However, SGA's matchup is exponentially more palatable Monday night, as he tangles with a Pistons team surrendering an NBA-high 37.2 offensive efficiency rating to point guards, along with an NBA-high 58.4 DK and 57.3 FD points per game to ones. Detroit is also yielding 52.2 percent shooting, including 43.2 percent from three-point range, to ones, while SGA is shooting a career-best 53.5 percent overall across his first eight games on a career-high 21.3 attempts per contest.
Jrue Holiday - PG, MIL at ATL ($9,000 DK; $8,400 FD)
Holiday has been taking ample advantage of some favorable matchups recently, scoring over 40 fantasy points in four straight on DK and in three of those contests on FD. His most productive game yet this season came against these same Hawks five games ago, when he put up 66 DK/66.4 FD points in a 123-115 win for Milwaukee.
The veteran point guard is right back in play again Monday night at what are still reasonable salaries, considering Atlanta is yielding 47.2 percent shooting to PGs, including 42.2 percent from distance. Holiday is taking the second-most shots per game of his career (17.1) at the moment with Khris Middleton (wrist) out, giving him an extremely safe floor.
Fred VanVleet - PG, TOR at CHI ($7,600 DK; $7,200 FD)
VanVleet's usage will be robust, to say the least, while Pascal Siakam (groin) is out approximately two weeks, and that was already evident Sunday against these same Bulls. Making his return from a three-game absence due to back tightness, VanVleet went off for a 30-point, 11-assist double-double that also included five rebounds.
The veteran guard will get another crack at Chicago in Monday night's rematch at United Center, and although he's certainly prone to his share of shooting clunkers, VanVleet's usage alone should give him a very safe floor at his extremely reasonable salaries. The Bulls were already yielding over 44 fantasy points per game on either site to point guards before Sunday's game, furthering VanVleet's case.

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jayson Tatum - PF, BOS at MEM ($10,200 DK, $10,200 FD)
Tatum's MVP-caliber start to the season includes averages of 30.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks per contest, as well as a career-best 50.0 percent shooting. The star forward is even draining a career-high 90.4 percent of his free-throw attempts, and Monday, he'll face a Grizzlies team ranked No. 19 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to power forwards (26.7).
Memphis is also surrendering over 43 fantasy points per game to PFs on either site, and Tatum, who's draining 38.3 percent of his career-high 9.0 three-point attempts per game, could find some success from behind the arc against a Grizzlies squad allowing elevated 37.1 percent three-point shooting.
Paolo Banchero - PF, ORL vs. HOU ($8,700 DK; $8,400 FD)
Banchero is coming off a career-high 33-point, 16-rebound performance against the Kings on Saturday night, going off for 62 DK/60.2 FD points. That followed a slight slump by Banchero's already lofty standard where he averaged 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists across a three-game span, numbers that are still solid by any standard.
The first overall pick is shooting a cool 50.0 percent over his last three contests, however, and he now draws a matchup about as good as the one he had against Sacramento in a Rockets team that's allowing an NBA-high 35.1 offensive efficiency rating to power forwards, along with over 51 DK and 49 FD points per game to the position.
Draymond Green - PF, GSW vs. SAC ($5,800 DK; $5,800 FD)
Green got Friday night's loss to the Pelicans off for lower back maintenance, but he, along with the rest of the Warriors' first unit, should be back and well-rested for a favorable matchup against the Kings. As just mentioned in Banchero's entry, Sacramento is certainly capable of giving up plenty of production to power forwards, with the Kings conceding the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to fours (31.3 percent) and over 40 fantasy points per game on either site to the position as well.
Green's career-high 61.4 percent shooting is leading to his best scoring average -- 8.9 PPG -- since the 2017-18 season, and he's also making his usual contributions in other categories. It's also worth noting the Kings rank No. 23 in offensive efficiency surrendered in the paint (62.0), an area of the floor where they're also allowing NBA-high 58.5 percent shooting.

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic - DEN at SA ($11,600 DK; $10,700 FD)
Jokic is shooting a career-high 62.3 percent for the season, including an even hotter 65.3 percent in his last three games. The perennial MVP candidate is actually much less involved on the offensive end overall thus far (11.8 shot attempts per contest), but that hasn't stopped him from already racking up five tallies of greater than 50 fantasy points on DK and four on FD. He'll be in position for one of his top-end performances Monday, as the Spurs have allowed the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (36.9), along with over 58 fantasy points per game to the position on either site.
Domantas Sabonis - SAC at GSW ($8,600 DK; $8,500 FD)
Sabonis has gotten what's slated to be his first full season in Sacramento off to a good start, averaging a well-rounded 16.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per contest despite his three-point shooting absolutely going in the tank (11.1 percent). The versatile big man already faced the Warriors once this season and came away with 45.5 DK/43.8 FD points across just 22 minutes on the strength of a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double.
That's par for the course against Golden State thus far this season, as the Warriors are surrendering over 60 fantasy points per game on either site to centers, along with ranking No. 30 and No. 27 in offensive efficiency allowed to fives and in the paint, respectively.
Kelly Olynyk - UTA vs. LAL ($5,500 DK; $5,600 FD)
Olynyk had a quiet game overall in yet another Jazz victory Sunday night against the Clippers, producing nine points, four rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 29 minutes. However, the veteran big man still makes for an excellent tournament value play at his salaries Monday night, considering the matchup against the Lakers has yielded 62 fantasy points per game to centers so far this season.
L.A. is also giving up an NBA-high 66.8 offensive efficiency rating in the paint and the second-highest figure in that category to centers (37.3); meanwhile, Olynyk has demonstrated some nice upside with four tallies of over 30 fantasy points on either site over his first 11 games.
