BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR1
ANALYSIS: DJ Moore and the Chicago Bears will take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17. He suffered an ankle injury in last week's 27-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals but is fully healthy to play today. With Darnell Mooney ruled out for the game, Moore is expected to be more involved in the offense led by Justin Fields.
The Bears have won three of their last four games, and Fields is playing quite well. This has allowed Moore to flourish, and he had a couple of good games heading into last week. In 15 games this season, the 26-year-old wideout has 83 receptions for 1,141 yards and eight touchdowns. He has also rushed for 21 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
D.J. Moore will be up against a pretty good Falcons defense that is just giving up an average of 19.2 points and 197.5 passing yards per game this season. However, with Mooney out and tight end Cole Kmet coming off a knee injury, the Maryland product will likely end up in the end zone at some point during the game.
He is averaging 13.6 points per game in half-PPR leagues this season, and this is a game where Fields might force-feed him to make big plays. Given that the Falcons are among the teams that could pursue Fields in the offseason, the Bears quarterback would love to put on a show with the help of his favorite target.
