ANALYSIS: New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas has been held back by Jacoby Brissett this season. The second-year wide receiver averaged 4.8 targets and five half-point PPR fantasy points over the first five weeks with Brissett under center.

The second-year pro had six receptions on nine targets for 92 receiving yards against the Houston Texans. Furthermore, he had his first NFL receiving touchdown and scored a career-high 18.2 fantasy points.

Douglas’ nine targets matched the rest of the team’s wide receiver core in Week 6. The second-year receiver was Maye’s favorite target against the Texans. More importantly, he has an excellent Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars have the worst pass defense in the NFL. Last week, they surrendered four passing touchdowns to Caleb Williams, with Keenan Allen totaling two.
