DeMario Douglas is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: DeMario Douglas once again led all Patriots wide receivers in receiving yards this past Sunday. New England has been maddeningly inconsistent with their wide receiver usage. However, the one constant has been Douglas. He looks like the team’s best pass catcher and has been used as such.

Rookie Drake Maye has shown some upside and delivered some strong performances, but this New England offense has been tough to trust for fantasy purposes. The reality is if you’re depending on a New England pass catcher to win your matchup, something has probably gone horribly wrong.
Still, Douglas is a good player, but he’s stuck in a less-than-ideal offensive climate. He will have his moments, but the environment makes it more difficult to predict when those moments will strike.
Douglas is a fine add off waivers if you’re in need of a receiver, but you shouldn’t spend a ton of FAAB or use a high waiver claim to acquire him. You might even be able to pick him up as a free agent after waivers run as most gamers are allergic to any New England pass-catchers.
