Titans wide receiver (WR) Corey Davis is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 47% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Looking back at Corey Davis' career numbers, the concerns coming from fantasy GMs were understandable. Not anymore, I guess. Davis was meh as a rookie (6.3 PPG in 11 games), performed better in his second year (11.5 PPG in 16 games) but he came back to his atrocious ways last season with a paltry 7.7 PPG in 15 games. Most people had in the cooked list until we arrived in this the year 2020 of our Lord and Davis rediscovered himself.

GAIN ACCESSIn his fourth year as a pro, Davis has played in five games already missing time due to injury and COVID issues. In those five matches, Davis has not dropped from 11.9 PPR points, has shown WR3 floor at the very least every week, and he even reached WR1 status this past weekend against Cincy having his best game of the season with 26.8 PPR points. Facing the Bengals--and most importantly sharing the field with top-of-the-depth-chart A.J. Brown and Jonnu Smith--he was able to rack up 128 receiving yards on 8-of-10 receptions while scoring a TD, his third of the season.
Davis has yet to play fewer than 50 snaps (or fall from a 72% snap share), he's not out-performing Brown every week, but it's been two games in a row leading all Titans in targets (back-to-back 10 in Weeks 7 and 8). Brown will remain WR1 ROS assuming everybody stays healthy, but Davis is definitely putting on a fight for that premium role. That's the only thing keeping him from being an All-Leagues WW target. Other than that, go hunting for Davis and get him to your roster (and starting lineups) as soon as you can.

Adding and stashing backup running backs is one of the most important edges in fantasy football roster construction. We're through 11 weeks of NFL action in 2025, and the running back position remains one where it's difficult to find value. We're through 11 weeks of NFL football in 2025, but it's never too late to hunt the waiver wire for pickups that could legitimately save your fantasy teams. Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups - Parker Washington, Christian Watson, Darnell Mooney Fantasy Football Outlooks
It's generally more forgiving in fantasy football to whiff on your wide receiver picks in the draft, because you can find more value on the waiver wire. Not every week is a good week for free-agent receivers that aren't rostered in your fantasy leagues, but there are often wideouts that prove they deserve to be […]
