CBB DFS: NCAA Tournament DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/21/24)

RJ Davis - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's NCAA Tournament DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/21/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

The real NCAA Tournament starts today. The play-in games are over and the NIT first round is done. We have the two largest DraftKings slates of the season for today and tomorrow, with all 16 games featured on the main slate each day. This is what it's all about! The early wave features Michigan State and Mississippi State followed by Duquesne and BYU with Akron and Creighton shortly behind.

It gets busy in the next wave with Arizona taking on The Beach. North Carolina draws Wagner with Morehead State taking on Illinois. Oregon and South Carolina is next with Nevada and Dayton getting the West Coast going. Colorado State and Texas are the bridge before the night starts with Kentucky facing Oakland and McNeese against Gonzaga. South Dakota State takes on Iowa State in Omaha. The night starts with St. Peter's and Tennessee. North Carolina State gets Texas Tech. Kansas starts its tournament against Samford with Drake and Washington State ending the night.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/21/24, starting at 12:15 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Shahada Wells, McNeese ($8.7K)

If you have read any of my articles this week, you know what a fan of Wells I am and how much I like this matchup for the Cowboys. Wells is easily the best fantasy producer on the team and it's not close. That's the kind of guy you want to hitch your wagons to tonight. Wells has at least 30 DraftKings points in eight straight games. He hasn't been under 22 in a game in which he played a full minutes load. That's the kind of floor I'm looking for and the ceiling is in the 50s.

Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($7.4K)

Lipsey is one of the best all-around guards in the country. He was leading the nation in steals before conference play started but is still fourth in the nation with 2.8 steals per game. He's not a big-time scorer, but he doesn't need to be. The steals, assists, and rebounds are more than enough to hit value regardless of his point total. That's the kind of guy I want anchoring my lineup.

Kalil Thomas, Morehead State ($6K)

Thomas is the sharpshooter who will have to have a good game for the Eagles to stay within earshot of the Illini. He has hit at least three three-point shots in five straight games and 11 of the last 12 contests. Not only that, but he hits a high percentage of them. He has hit 52.1% of his triples in those 12 games. His ancillary stats will suffer against the Illini, but it's going to be raining threes this afternoon in Omaha.

Elmarko Jackson, Kansas ($4.8K)

He outplayed Johnny Furphy in the loss to Cincinnati, so there is a chance that Jackson re-enters the starting five. Hunter Dickinson is expected to play, but with Kevin McCullar Jr. out for the tournament, it will fall on Jackson or Nicolas Timberlake to pick up the slack. The Jayhawks went with Timberlake for the first several games without McCullar, but Jackson's performance against Cincinnati should land him in the starting lineup. Even if it doesn't, he should be the leader of the second unit that will get a lot of run against Samford.

Also consider: Tucker DeVries, Drake ($9.7K); Riley Minix, Morehead State ($8.4K); RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8.3K); Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($8.2K); Jimmy Clark III, Duquesne ($7.7K); Kenan Blackshear, Nevada ($7K); Marcus Tsohonis, Long Beach State ($6.3K); Ali Ali, Akron ($6.1K); Atin Wright, Drake ($5.8K); Jack Gohlke, Oakland ($5.6K); Conor Enright, Drake ($5.3K); Jake DiMichele, Duquesne ($4.9K); Javier Ezquerra, Wagner ($4.3K); Jamari McDowell, Kansas ($4.1K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

DaRon Holmes II, Dayton ($9.6K)

Holmes might be the safest play on the whole slate. He hasn't been under 35 DraftKings points since February 6 and has only been under 40 twice in that span. The A-10 is a high mid-major, but Holmes still tore through the conference. He has three straight double-doubles and six in the last eight games. Nevada is solid up front, but I'm not sure that solid can stop Holmes.

Enrique Freeman, Akron ($8.4K)

Freeman's nine rebounds against Kent in the MAC Championship broke a streak of 16 consecutive double-doubles. Who was the last team to hold him to single-digit rebounds? Kent, of course, back on January 19. Freeman posted a double-double in all but four games this season. He seems like a safe bet to do it again today.

Achor Achor, Samford ($5.8K)

As Achor goes, so goes Samford. He is averaging 40.7 DraftKings points per game in March. He still struggles with fouls at times, but when he is on the court, he is a sight to behold. He's the best scorer on a team full of them and a constant double-double threat. This won't be easy with Hunter Dickinson expected to be available, but for this price, I'm taking at least one shot.

Dusan Mahorcic, Duquesne ($3.6K)

Mahorcic is a solid bench player. Nothing more, nothing less. Not so bad, right? Well...the bad news is that he's a starter. A starter who plays bench minutes. It's all so confusing. We can expect 15-20 minutes out of Mahorcic and around a dozen DraftKings points. I'm looking for consistent value more than anything else when we get this close to the bottom of the barrel.

Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($9.2K); N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($8.6K); Aboubacar Traore, Long Beach State ($7.5K); Fousseyni Traore, BYU ($7K); Mohamed Diarra, North Carolina State ($6.7K); D.J. Jeffries, Mississippi State ($6.3K); B.J. Mack, South Carolina ($5.9K); Luke Appel, South Dakota State ($5.1K); Ugonna Onyenso, Kentucky ($4.7K); Rueben Chinyelu, Washington State ($4.5K)
