CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/14/24)

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/14/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

All right, DraftKings. You and me...we're pretty tight, right? We need to have a discussion about these Wednesday slates. I appreciate the extra games offered this year. What I don't appreciate is the lopsided nature of the slates. Once again, if they split the start times at 9 p.m. and put those with the late slate, the two slates would be just about an even split. Just like Tuesdays. It just works better. But alas, we have nine games on the main with just two games on the late slate. This should have either been made into an all-inclusive 11-game slate or a six-game main and five-game late. This nine and two business is unnecessary.

At least they didn't cut off the early game tonight. We begin in Penn State with Spartans in town. Up next is Xavier in Jersey to take on the Hall. Miami is in Clemson to take on the Tigers. Georgia Tech is on the way to Indiana to take on the Irish. South Carolina heads down to Auburn to take on the reeling Tigers. Iowa heads to College Park to take on the Terps. The night ends with a three-pack of games. Tennessee heads to Fayetteville, UConn heads to Chicago to take on DePaul, and Arizona State hosts the Beavers.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/14/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8.5K)

I'm not enamored with many of the top options. Young doesn't have the ceiling of some of the guys in front of him, but he hasn't been under 30 DraftKings points since December 12 in a blowout win over Alcorn State. Young has cleared 50 a couple of times and is currently riding a four-game streak of over 35 DraftKings points. When it comes to the top options, Young is less of a risk and the ceiling is almost as high against a porous Iowa perimeter defense. Young put up 38.75 DraftKings points on them the first time around.

Tyson Walker, Michigan State ($7.3K)

Walker has one of his best games of the season in the first meeting with Penn State in a blowout win. Despite only playing 29 minutes because of the blowout, Walker put up 45.25 DraftKings points. He has scored in double figures in every game this season and has at least one steal in every game over the last month. His scoring and defense give Walker a good floor to start with. As we saw in the first meeting against Penn State, he has a pretty high ceiling in this price range.

Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame ($5.4K)

Yes, he's the coach's son, but that's not why he's playing. Shrewsberry went through a stint on the bench for the Irish when he struggled in December, but he reclaimed the starting job at the beginning of January. Since then, Shrewsberry has only scored in single digits twice. He is averaging 12 points per game since rejoining the starting lineup with 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 assists. If Shrewsberry goes cold from the floor, he has a hard time hitting value. That shouldn't happen tonight considering he dropped 25 actual points on Georgia Tech in Atlanta in the first meeting.

Hassan Diarra, Connecticut ($4.5K)

DePaul has lost 11 straight Big East games and only one of those has been by less than 13 points. This started with a blowout loss to UConn on January 2, a game that Connecticut won by 27 points. That meant a lot of playing time for bench players, including Diarra. He played 19 minutes in that game and put up 31.25 DraftKings points. We can't count on that output again, but a blowout seems imminent and Diarra can do a whole lot of damage in 20 minutes of court time.

Also consider: Quincy Olivari, Xavier ($9.3K); Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($8.9K); Tony Perkins, Iowa ($8.6K); Cam Spencer, Connecticut ($8.2K); Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($7.8K); Tramon Mark, Arkansas ($7.4K); Stephon Castle, Connecticut ($7.1K); Jaden Akins, Michigan State  ($5.9K); Nick Kern Jr., Penn State ($5.5K); Adam Miller, Arizona State ($5.3K); El Ellis, Arkansas ($4.8K); Logan Imes, Notre Dame ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Norchad Omier, Miami ($8.9K)

Omier is averaging 40.5 DraftKings points per game over the last seven games. He put up 34 in the first meeting with Clemson in 31 minutes. He fouled out PJ Hall in that game and outplayed him head-to-head. While Hall may fare a little better at home, I trust the consistently strong output of Omier more. His PER rating was higher than Hall's in the first meeting.

Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($8K)

The freshman has taken control of this Gamecocks team. He has 63 points, 21 rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and three blocks over the last three games alone! Tennessee held him in check, but they are the only team to hold him under 30 DraftKings points in the last six games. This is a tough matchup, but so were two of those three teams that he just lit up (Mississippi and Georgia). It's tough to trust a freshman, but the ceiling is intoxicating.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($6K)

Ndongo's stock has plummeted after he left the North Carolina game with a head injury after just five minutes and has fouled out of two of the three games since his return while playing a combined 34 minutes. It's the game in which he didn't foul out of that intrigues me. Ndongo put up 25 DraftKings points on Wake in a blowout loss. Considering that Ndongo had his way with the Irish interior in the first meeting, I'm locking him into every lineup tonight. He's way too cheap. I still believe in the talent.

Carson Cooper, Michigan State ($4.2K)

The role that used to be occupied by Mady Sissoko now seems to be Cooper's. Cooper was outplaying Sissoko in several outings before this switch. Cooper has averaged 14.7 DraftKings points over the last four games while averaging 19 minutes per contest. Cooper is nothing flashy, but he is a solid value play.

Also consider: Johni Broome, Auburn ($9.6K); PJ Hall, Clemson ($9K); Julian Reese, Maryland ($8.1K); Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($7.7K); Ian Schieffelin, Clemson ($7,2K); Malik Hall, Michigan State ($6.5K); Makhi Mitchell, Arkansas ($6,2K); Zach Hicks, Penn State ($5.7K); Patrick McCaffery, Iowa ($5,100); Tafara Gapare, Georgia Tech ($4.6K); KC Ibekwe, Oregon State ($4.3K).
