BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 20% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Who would have thought Brock Purdy has this much production inside of him? In the four games he's started, Purdy has not dropped below the 15-FP line and has put up numbers on all fronts barring pass completions. Yes, that hurts the team as a whole in terms of receptions, but Purdy has kept his scores as clean and high as possible.
Purdy is coming off his second-best performance of the year thanks to completing 15 passes (22 attempts) for 234 yards and a couple of touchdowns against just one interception. He reached 17 FP against Washington, his second-highest tally after he put up a 21.7-FP score facing Tampa Bay in Week 14.
The sudden starter has now thrown 2 TDs in each of the four games he's started while only getting picked twice (once in Week 13, once last Saturday) and adding one rushing touchdown to his season stat line (in Week 14 hosting the Bucs).
Purdy's 17.6 FPPG in the last month of play would rank top-14 on the season as a whole. It's not hard to see him keeping it up for two more weeks and into the postseason (when Jimmy G is expected back) considering he's a low-volume, low-yardage, no-risks-taken passer keeping it safe on a weekly basis.
The ceiling is not incredible with Purdy but you can do much worse than streaming the freshest Niners starter to cap the year in deeper formats.
