Breshad Perriman (WR, NYJ) - Wide Receiver Draft Values

NFL wide receiver Breshad Perriman is a potential 2020 fantasy football sleeper and ADP draft value. Target him as an undervalued WR in fantasy football drafts.

ANALYSIS: No one is talking about Perriman and his under the radar signing with the Jets. Perriman was a forgotten man during most of 2019 playing in Tampa Bay behind one of the best WR combos in the game in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. It looked like it would stay that way until both Godwin and Evans went down with injuries late last season.

Things finally began to turn around in Tampa Bay for Perriman with a combined eight catches for 157 yards in Weeks 13 and 14. The flashes of his full-on potential then came together as the primary target in Week 15, where he racked up three straight 100-yard games to go with 17 catches and four touchdowns. Now entering the picture in New York, Perriman can immediately grab approximately 100 targets or more vacated by Robby Anderson. In fact, PFF has him moderately projected to reach 85 targets (17.9% target share among all Jets) on the year for 45 receptions and 780+ yards to go with five scores.

Perriman is stepping into an extremely thin WR depth chart and he should at least play the WR2 role assuming Crowder (a returning player with a rapport already built with QB Sam Darnold) is the WR1. Perriman will also fight for targets with rookie Denzel Mims, but the freshman still has to prove he’s ready to be a starter and reliable mouth to feed. With an upgraded offensive line and a full season of Sam Darnold in Adam Gase’s offense, Perriman looks to post his biggest season to date in 2020. Get ready to rob your opponents by drafting Perriman in the 130-140 ADP range this season.
