Brandin Cooks is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been targeted nine times through the first two games of the season and is worth picking up in 12-team leagues due to his role in Dallas.
While Cooks struggled a bit in Week 2, catching just two passes for 19 yards, he was on the field for 81% of the team's offensive snaps. Jalen Tolbert outperformed Cooks with a team-high nine targets, which he turned into six receptions for 82 yards, but I don't buy that as more than a one-week blip for now.
That end around to Brandin Cooks had potential. Jalen Brooks had a key missed block though. Alontae Taylor beat him and made the play.
The Cowboys also lack a run game this year, which is going to lead to huge passing numbers for quarterback Dak Prescott. Rostering the No. 2 option in the pass game is a smart fantasy move, even if there will be games like the loss to the Saints where he takes a backseat.
It's Week 15, which is the first week of the fantasy football playoffs in most leagues. Whether you made it in and want to win a championship, or are just looking to avoid your league's last place spot, there's still reason to work the waiver wire. Even if you're out of the playoffs, it makes […]

Let's say you're one of the many fantasy football managers who drafted Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton (ankle). Maybe you chose Cardinals RB James Conner (ankle). Perhaps you selected Titans tailback Tony Pollard. If you chose any of these players, you've probably been hurting at RB for most of the season. The same […]
The wide receiver position is just a little bit more forgiving than the running back position in terms of finding talent on the waiver wire. It's hard to find players that will be consistently good moving forward, though. Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (collarbone), Green Bay Packers wideout Christian Watson, and Houston Texans […]
