Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

3645 articles

I am a Senior Fantasy Analyst, College Football Lead, and Operations Associate for RotoBaller. I have followed College Football and the NFL since I was five years old and started playing fantasy football soon after. I began writing about college football at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as the Sports Editor for the school newspaper. After graduating, I began covering fantasy football in 2021 during an internship with The Sporting News, and then joined the RotoBaller team in 2022. My favorite fantasy football format is dynasty/superflex. I enjoy spending every Saturday and Sunday watching football, and in the offseason, I catch every Saturday UFC event possible. Go Vols, and Go Titans!

Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden the Starters in Two-WR Sets?

Green Bay Packers wide receivers Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden kicked off training camp as the two starters in two-WR sets, according to team reporter Weston Hodkiewicz. While Day 1 training-camp usage should be taken with a grain of salt, this could signal that Jayden Reed will continue to be primarily utilized in three-WR sets. […]

Bo Melton Switching to Cornerback

Green Bay Packers fourth-year veteran Bo Melton is officially switching from wide receiver to cornerback, according to NFL.com. The 2022 seventh-round pick out of Rutgers was originally selected by the Seattle Seahawks but signed with Green Bay after being released following training camp. He did not appear in a game during his rookie season, but […]

Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Walter Nolen (calf) is set to miss time after suffering a calf injury while training, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings is participating in Wednesday's training camp practice and is leading the team's wide receivers in drills, according to David Lombardi of The Athletic. Jacob Cowing Pulls Hamstring During Wednesday's Practice

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jacob Cowing (hamstring) suffered a pulled hamstring during Wednesday's training camp practice, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. The second-year wideout out of Arizona had a strong spring and is looking to earn a role in 2025, so this is obviously a tough development. However, it is unclear how much […]

Drew Brees Mentored Bo Nix this Offseason

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix spent time learning from future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees this offseason, according to head coach Sean Payton. Brees spent 15 seasons with Payton during their time with the New Orleans Saints, leading the NFL in passing seven times, collecting five All-Pro honors, and winning Super Bowl XLIV. Needless […]

Artie Burns Feared to Have Suffered Torn ACL on Wednesday

Miami Dolphins cornerback Artie Burns (knee) suffered a knee injury during Wednesday's training camp practice that is feared to be a torn ACL. The 30-year-old will have an MRI done to confirm the severity of his injury. Unfortunately, players go down for the year every offseason during training camp, and Burns might have suffered that […]

Noah Fant Let Go by Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks released veteran tight end Noah Fant on Sunday, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. His time in Seattle comes to an end after three seasons with the organization. RJ Harvey Reaches Agreement on Four-Year Rookie Contract

Denver Broncos running back RJ Harvey has agreed to his four-year rookie deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Mike Green Expected to Sign Rookie Deal with Ravens on Thursday

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Baltimore Ravens pass-rusher Mike Green is expected to sign his four-year rookie deal on Thursday. C.J. Stroud Working on Speed, Pocket Mobility Entering Year 3

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a sophomore slump following his fantastic rookie season in 2023 out of Ohio State. After throwing for more than 4,100 yards, 23 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 15 games in Year 1, he regressed to just over 3,700 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 picks in Year 2. Entering 2025 […]

Daiyan Henley Full-Go for Training Camp

Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley (shoulder) said he expects to be a full participant during training camp after undergoing shoulder surgery this offseason. Terrance Ferguson Could Benefit from Rams Scheme Changes

Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrance Ferguson was selected by the team with the No. 46 overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Oregon. It was rumored that the Rams were interested in trading up for Brock Bowers in 2024 and one of Colston Loveland or Tyler Warren in […]

Jacob Cowing Could Handle Gadget Role in San Francisco

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jacob Cowing had a quiet rookie season after being selected in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Arizona. The 24-year-old produced just four receptions for 80 yards and rushed once for seven yards. Otherwise, he did the majority of his work as a punt returner. Entering […]

The New York Jets are signing All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to a four-year, $120.4 million contract extension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Blake Corum has "Gotten His Speed Back"

Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum was a popular fantasy sleeper heading into last season after being selected in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Michigan. However, the 24-year-old failed to make an impact, logging just 58 carries for 207 yards and failing to score a touchdown. Corum did not […]
