ANALYSIS: For weeks it has been speculated that Estime would get more touches in Denver’s offense. That finally came to fruition this past Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs as Estime carried the football 14 times for 53 yards.

It looks as though Estime has replaced Javonte Williams atop Denver’s depth chart. It’s not totally surprising as Williams has widely been ineffective and ranks towards the bottom of several running back metrics.
The Broncos draw a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. Atlanta currently ranks 19th in defensive rushing DVOA per FTN Fantasy and allows over 129 rushing yards per game. This is a game where Estime could have more success if he’s given the necessary volume.
That kind of usage is always a bit of an unknown when it comes to Sean Payton, but conventional logic dictates that Payton will give Estime another shot against an easier opponent. The rookie is arguably the top running back on waivers this week. Gamers in need of a rusher should spend their FAAB and use their top waiver claim accordingly.
