Amon-Ra St. Brown is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has led the team in receptions in each of the past two games. In Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, he caught six of his eight targets for 70 yards. He followed the game up by catching seven of eight targets for a team-high 65 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5.
Quintez Cephus (collarbone) was the team's top producer at wide receiver over the first few games of the year, but he broke his collarbone this past week and could miss the remainder of the season. That leaves St. Brown and Kalif Raymond as the team's top two receiving threats for now. The two players have delivered about equal production through five weeks, but Raymond - a fifth-year receiver who is now on his fourth team - is coming off a dud of a performance (zero catches on two targets in Week 5).
St. Brown was a fourth round pick of the Lions this year and he's trending in the right direction. His increased workload over the past two weeks could be a sign of things to come for him. The 0-5 Lions are going nowhere fast this year and they have no reason to hold back the 21-year-old rookie.
Add St. Brown if you need receiver help in PPR leagues of 12 teams or deeper. The Lions will have to continue to throw the ball as they are likely to be trailing early and often throughout the year. St. Brown could have a reliable amount of targets on a weekly basis going forward, giving him WR3 or flex appeal.
