BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex Play
ANALYSIS: Alexander Mattison has functioned as the Raiders lead back the last handful of games. He’s received plenty of volume, scored four touchdowns, and has been a viable flex play at times this year.

Las Vegas travels across the country to play the Miami Dolphins this weekend. Miami hasn’t had the season they’d hoped for, and their run defense has been part of the problem.
Per FTN Fantasy, the Dolphins rank 25th in defensive rushing DVOA and have allowed the 11th most PPR points per game to opposing backs. Las Vegas might not be able to take advantage, though, as they have struggled to run the football consistently.
The Raiders are 7.5-point underdogs in this game, so they will likely be playing from behind, and rushing opportunities will be limited.
While that would mean more opportunities to catch passes, Mattison hasn’t seen enough volume as a pass catcher to be considered a must-start player. He should only be started in the deepest of leagues or as a desperation play if you’re missing starters due to injuries or byes.
