Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby became the 46th player in NHL history to reach the 500-goal mark in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Flyers, as the 34-year-old found the back of the net in the opening period of the game for his 14th goal of the season. Crosby is now the second active player to enter the exclusive club, joining Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin who sits fourth all-time with 761 career goals and counting. Additionally, Crosby became the second player in Penguins history to score 500 goals as he joined Mario Lemieux (690) on the list.
