Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Lands In Concussion Protocol

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (concussion) has entered the league's concussion protocol, a move that rules him out for Thursday's contest against the Grizzlies. Gilgeous-Alexander dropped a season-high 39 points during Wednesday's loss to Houston, but finished the outing by sustaining a concussion that will now sideline him for an indeterminate amount of time. When healthy, Josh Giddey (illness) could be viewed as an upside DFS play without Gilgeous-Alexander, but the rookie is also out of the mix Thursday, throwing the OKC backcourt into flux. Luguentz Dort, Ty Jerome, and Tre Mann can all be viewed as upside plays for as long as Gilgeous-Alexander is sidelined.
