DeSean Jackson Not Doing Individual Drills Thursday

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver DeSean Jackson (calf), who was limited in practice on Wednesday with a calf injury, was not on the field on Thursday for individual drills. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggests that Jackson's calf injury isn't very serious, so the Raiders could just be giving him a breather before Friday's practice. But for a player like Jackson that relies heavily on his speed as a deep downfield threat for Las Vegas, this injury shouldn't be ignored. We'll have a better idea of D-Jax's status for the Week 13 game against the Washington Football Team on Friday. He played just under 50% of the offensive snaps in his third game with the team last week and caught three passes for 102 yards and his second touchdown of the year. With tight end Darren Waller (knee) likely out this week, the Raiders would be hurting for pass-catchers if Jackson is also unable to play. Bryan Edwards would be more attractive as a flex play.
