New York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin stopped all but one shot on Friday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He made 29 saves in all and yet it still was not enough. Pittsburgh won on Long Island by a score of 1-0. What has been lost during the eight-game New York losing streak is that they have tallied just seven goals (allowed 32). That is less than a goal per game. Goaltenders are not going to win with that low of a margin for error. Sorokin is 5-6-2 on the season now with three shutouts and a .928 save percentage. He is a bright beacon for a team facing dark times.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
