The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed cornerback Richard Sherman (calf) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, meaning that he will have to miss at least the next three games. The 33-year-old veteran cornerback suffered a Grade 2 calf strain during pre-game warmups before the Week 10 game. Sherman signed with the Bucs in Week 4 and played in three games before suffering a hamstring injury in Week 6. It's more bad news for a Tampa secondary that hasn't had any injury luck this year. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow) has been out since Week 1, while corner Carlton Davis (quadriceps) is also on IR. Dee Delaney suffered a concussion in Week 10 and Rashard Robinson was put on IR last week. The New York Giants will be the next team to get a shot at their thin secondary on Monday night.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
