The Washington Football Team defense, with four former first-round picks in Chase Young, Montez Sweat, Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen, has underperformed through three weeks after being hyped up in the offseason. Young has yet to record a sack and has just one quarterback hit. Washington's defense ranks 29th in scoring defense and 31st in total defense, while they are tied for 16th in sacks (six) and 22nd in takeaways (two). They allowed 481 total yards to the Buffalo Bills in a 43-21 Week 3 loss. It has been a very disappointing start, but Washington has time to turn things around, and it could happen in Week 4 against a struggling Atlanta Falcons offense. Washington's defense is start-worthy again this weekend, but if they disappoint yet again, it'll be hard to trust them in Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
