Trevor Rogers To Make Rehab Start On Tuesday
Trevor Rogers will start two games at Low-A Jupiter this week. His first start will come on Tuesday and his second start will be later in the week. Rogers has been on the bereavement list since the end of July while attending to family matters. The 23-year-old southpaw has had a strong year in the majors. Over 20 starts, he has gone 7-6 with a 2.45 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP and a 28.7% strikeout rate. Assuming his rehab starts go well, he should be able to rejoin the Marlins rotation some time in early September.
