Pete Alonso Day-To-Day After X-Rays Come Back Negative
Pete Alonso (elbow) had X-rays of his elbow come back negative after he exited Wednesday's game following a hit by pitch, according to Justin Toscano of NorthJersey.com. Alonso was hit on his elbow in the top of the ninth inning and immediately exited the game, and Toscano now reports that Alonso is currently experiencing some swelling on his triceps. Managers should consider Alonso day-to-day, and don't be surprised if he is not in the lineup on Thursday.
