Lewis Thorpe Leaves Wednesday's Start With An Injury
Lewis Thorpe (undisclosed) was removed from Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Indians due to an apparent injury. He was visited on the mound in the second inning by the team's head athletic trainer, then removed from the game after that. His final line for the day was 1 1/3 innings, one hit, three walks, two earned runs and one strikeout. Thorpe had been building his arm back up from a shoulder injury lately. We don't know if Wednesday's injury is related, but if it is, the team will likely be cautious with him over the next few weeks.
