Mike Reilly rebuffed the allure of unrestricted free agency and signed a three-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins. The 28-year-old defenseman's contract will have a $3 million AAV. After a strong three-year collegiate career at the University of Minnesota, Reilly played parts of three seasons with the Minnesota Wild before moving on to the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators. He was traded to Boston late in the 2020-21 season and recorded eight assists with a 7 +/- in 15 games. Reilly added another four assists in 11 playoff games. He's never been a huge asset on the offensive side but he could have more fantasy value moving forward with a stronger team around him. He'll enter the 2021-22 fantasy season with some late-round intrigue in deep leagues. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
