The 29-year-old southpaw is currently dealing with an irregular heartbeat, an ailment he was also plagued with last season. During his brief appearances on the bump for the Cubs this season, he has been a reliable bullpen option, logging 28 strikeouts throughout only 17 innings. It's possible, if not probable that Wieck doesn't make it back for the remainder of the year, so managers without room can safely drop him.--Dennis Clausen
