The Edmonton Oilers suffered a big loss on Wednesday when the Seattle Kraken nabbed veteran defenseman Adam Larsson during the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. The new club then signed the pending unrestricted free agent to a four-year, $16 million contract. The 28-year-old is a reliable, stay-at-home defender who doled out 166 hits and blocked 128 shots in 2020-21. He scored five goals and recorded 10 total points in 56 games. Larsson has averaged more than 20 minutes played per game during his career and should be a Top 4 defenseman for the Kraken while helping cut down on the number of shots getting through to new goalie Chris Driedger. Larsson is a strong fantasy option in leagues that reward hits and blocked shots. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
