Nick Castellanos Avoids Fractured Wrist After HBP

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos (wrist) had his X-rays come back negative after he was hit by a pitch during Friday's game, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. After the game, manager David Bell said, "It is not broken. He is pretty sore. A little early to tell about tomorrow or this weekend, but great news." Fantasy managers will echo that sentiment of this being great news, as Castellanos has been one of the top fantasy outfielders this season. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and expect him to likely be held out of the lineup over the weekend. Keep an eye out for further updates on Castellanos, and when he returns to the lineup managers should start him without hesitation. While Castellanos is out, Aristides Aquino should see an increase in playing time.
