Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that catcher Mitch Garver (groin) is likely looking at a return just before or after the All-Star break after he met with a urologist last week. The Twins are being careful with Garver. The 30-year-old landed on the injured list four weeks ago after taking a foul tip to his groin area. Garver needed surgery to fix the issue. He was hitting just .224 (26-for-116) in 135 plate appearances before his injury, but Garver had been valuable in two-catcher formats with his eight home runs and 17 RBI. A high career strikeout rate (26.6%) means you cannot count on Garver provided a respectable batting average, but his maximum exit velocity (111.8 mph) is encouraging and puts him in the 83rd percentile in baseball. Ryan Jeffers has been handling the primary catching duties since Garver's injury.--Keith Hernandez
